Secretary
The Secretary of the Amhara Heritage Society of Minnesota manages and maintains the office of the organization to make sure that the office runs smoothly and effectively. The secretary attends all meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive officers and record all proceedings of such meetings in the minute book of the Association, organizes and maintains files, supplies, and equipment, maintain budget and purchase supplies for the office, track inventory of office supplies. The detailed duties of the Secretary are listed in AHSM’s Bylaw 7.7 and might expand to additional services as the AHSM leadership sees necessary.
Treasurer
The Treasurer of the Amhara Heritage Society of Minnesota (AHSM) is responsible for keeping accurate financial records for the Association and executing financial transactions on behalf of the organization such as depositing all money, drafts and checks in the name of and to the credit of the Association in the banks and depositories designated by the Board of Directors, endorse for deposit all notes, checks and drafts received by the Association and disbursing corporate funds and issue checks and drafts in the name of the Association. The treasurer is also responsible for paying reimbursements and automation the financial management and transactions of the organization by utilizing the latest tools available. The detailed duties of the Treasurer are listed in AHSM’s Bylaw 7.6 and might expand to additional services as the AHSM leadership sees necessary.
